Valen Group Held a Webinar Together with the Embassy of the UAE in Russia
Valen Group recently brought together entrepreneurs and business representatives from around the world for a webinar dedicated to the practical aspects of entering the Russian market. Participants learned about opportunities, key steps, and real challenges that companies face when starting operations in one of the most dynamically developing economies.
The webinar was held with the support of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Moscow. The event opened with welcoming remarks from the Embassy Attaché, Maitha Ahmed Rashid Alsaleh Alteneiji. Ms. Alteneiji highlighted the growing economic ties between the UAE and Russia. An increasing number of entrepreneurs from the UAE view Russia as a promising direction for business development. At the same time, Russian companies are actively strengthening their presence in the Emirates. Ms. Alteneiji also expressed confidence that this trend will continue to grow and emphasized that the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates is always ready to provide support and assistance to entrepreneurs from both Russia and the UAE.
The main speaker of the webinar was Valentina Khlavich, Managing Partner of Valen Group. She presented a step-by-step guide to establishing a company in Russia — from registering a legal entity and preparing the required documents to understanding legal nuances and expected timeframes. Ms. Khlavich gave detailed explanations of all stages of the registration process and clarified who can serve as a general director and what responsibilities this role entails. The webinar also covered practical aspects of launching a business, including choosing an office, hiring staff, and working with major Russian marketplaces. At the end of the event, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized recommendations from Valen Group experts.
