Major companies are interested in moving to Russian offshore
Business representatives propose that the government should expand the opportunities for exemption from Russian profits tax on income from foreign production companies operating in the format of a production sharing agreement, reduce requirements for the minimum amount of investment, the number of staff and office space on the territory of the offshore. In addition, they insist on a tax rate of 10% not only on income received from the holding company registered in the ATS, but also on dividends, reduce the threshold of participation of the parent organization in the capital of its foreign subsidiary, which allows its transfer to the ATS, from 100% to 50%, etc.
In exchange for benefits the companies will have to invest at least 300 million rubles over two years into the infrastructure on Oktyabrsky Island in Kaliningrad region and on Russky Island in Primorye (social, transport, energy, etc.), as well as rent or buy an office of 100 square meters and hire a staff of at least 15 people.
