Amnesty of capital: new rules

Ministry of Finance will not extend Amnesty of capitals after March 01, 2019 on previous conditions.

According to new rules the guarantees will be provided for one more year to investors who transfer their assets to special administrative districts in Russia.

As the Deputy Minister of Finance explained, such investors should at first transfer their assets to Russia and then to declare them.

Creating such conditions for residents of special administrative districts require amendments of legislation.

We would like to remind that Amnesty of capitals is in force until February 28, 2019.

Citizens who voluntarily declared their foreign assets shall not be liable for violations of tax and currency legislation.

However, no assets transfer to Russia is required according to rules of this Amnesty.
