Companies may be exempted from fines

Minister of Finance suggested that fines should not be applied to small and medium-sized companies if they committed an offense for the first time. If inspection body identifies an offense that was voluntarily eliminated by the company, in this case it should receive a warning only.

Relevant practice will have to extend not only to services reporting to the Ministry of Finance, but also to other supervisory authorities.

It is worth recalling that small and medium-sized companies are companies with less than 250 employees and income less than 2 billion Rubles a year.
