Companies will receive electronic licenses

Russian Parliament has adopted in third hearing draft law on transfer of licensing into electronic form and rejection of paper licenses for companies and individual entrepreneurs.

Instead of a paper document, it is proposed to include license into appropriate register. Information in the register of licenses will be open and publicly available, electronic extracts from it will be free. Similar practice has already proven itself in providing of similar services in Rosreestr, Federal Tax Service and other state authorities.

The draft law establishes priority of electronic workflow in licensing area, while allowing usage of both paper and electronic licenses.

This amendment will positive impact not only on companies that will be able to apply for a license in a simplified manner, but also on state authorities, reducing their burden for renewing and reissuing paper licenses.
